The highlight of Saturday’s event was the presentation of a special gift to retired K9 Police Officer Tim Fawcett and recognition of his late K9 Bruin. K9 Bruin died of cancer in March. And I believe a lot of them came because of Timmy,” Montano said. During a special ceremony, Fawcett received a framed Boston Bruins jersey with “K9 BRUIN” inscribed on the back. The jersey was accompanied by a letter signed by the 2018-19 Boston Bruins team that came within one game of winning the NHL’s Stanley Cup.
