Died on Wednesday, August 19th under hospice at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the husband of the late Walter R. Florentino. Born in Boston, Mrs. Florentino was the daughter of the late Samuel and Julia (Chapprone) Feudo. Her first job of which she was so proud was working at The Twinkle Shop no owned and operated Angie’s Beauty Corner in Everett, later she worked with her daughter at Julie’s Beauty Salon in Saugus. Angie made the best anise cookies in the world and loved to feed them to family and friends. She is survived by her daugha local soda shop in East Boston. A lifelong resident of Saugus, Lieutenant Drella was the son of the late Stanley M. and Laura C. (Galinski) Drella. A graduate of Saugus High School, he served the Town of Saugus for 39 years. An avid fire buff, fire photographer, and DC Rentals communications expert, Lieutenant Drella was well known and deeply respected throughout the Northeast and beyond. His service to Saugus began in 1987 as a part-time dispatcher. In 1991, he was appointed as a full-time firefighter by Town Manager Ed Collins. Throughout his firefighting career, Lieutenant Drella earned several commendations for lifesaving actions, crisis mitigation, and evidence collection through photography. In 2025, he was ment, create a lasting memory, and, often, share a much-needed laugh. In addition to his wife, Lieutenant Drella is survived by his two sons, FF Alexander Drella, Mendon FD and his wife Caroline of Uxbridge and FF Christian Drella, Melrose FD and his fiancée Jennifer Duby, paramedic Billerica EMS and his beloved grandson Cooper. Relatives and friends were awarded the Thomas R. Linskey Award of Merit, the highest departmental award a member can receive, recognizing his extraordinary contributions to the entire fire community through his photography and his dedication to sharing our stories. Lieutenant Drella taught us all to never be afraid to “take the picture” — to capture the moinvited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, Saugus on Tuesday, August 25th. A funeral mass was held on Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Church in Saugus followed by interment in Riverside in Saugus.
