The Saugus Lions Club had a “roaring” float in this year’s parade. The local Girl Scouts participated. The Hingham Militia, dressed in period uniforms and accompanied by its rifle squad, fired shots with World War II reenactors as taps was played. Representatives of the Saugus Little League and Saugus Softball Little League The Saugus High School Marching Band participated in this year’s parade. The Gold Star Wives rode with an Elvis impersonator in his Chevy Classic.
