Age 70, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 1st, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She was the devoted wife of Orrison W. Carr III with whom she shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Lynn and a lifelong resident of Saugus, Maureen was the daughter of the late Henry and Jeanne (Pecukonis) Goodwin. A graduate of Saugus High School class of 1972, she worked for many years as a Unit Coordinator on Med 4 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
