THE REVERE ADVOCATE - Friday, September 6, 2019 Page 13 Memory Laners entertain at Rossetti-Cowan Senior Center Luncheon T he Rossetti-Cowan Senior Center hosted an “End-of-Summer ” Luncheon with a full course meal, the popular shepherd’s pie, ice cream and strawberries, and the renowned group The Memory Laners (formerly the Senior Tones). For the fifth year in a row, this group performed songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s as well as individual favorites, such as by Neil Diamond and Tom Jones. Their Sonny & Cher skit wooed the seniors. Thank you to Jack Walsh and Wheelabrator for their raffle gifts, popcorn baskets and medicine dispensers. The seniors had a great time as always. The Memory Laners sing “I Got You Babe” by Sonny & Cher. Barbara Stoddard and her fellow dancing seniors Councillor-at-Large Anthony Zambuto with Jackie Luti, Lorraine Pocchio and Eleanor Cerabone Mary Vigliotti loves “The Twist” by Chubby Checker.
