Youth Soccer, the U.S. Soccer Foundation, and the City of Revere came together to officially open a brand new mini-pitch designed to give local youth more access to the world’s game last Thursday afternoon at Frederick’s Park in Beachmont. “Players from local programs, community leaders, including Mayor Patrick Keefe, and project partners gathered to celebrate the growth of soccer across Revere and the impact this new mini pitch will have on year round play, skill development, and community connection,” Mass. Youth Soccer Executive Director Rob Holliday said. “The first kick ceremony and activities brought out the passion that continues to make soccer the city’s top sport.” “This is a meaningful step forward for every player and family who calls this community home,” said Holliday.
