The annual festival draws upwards of one million spectators from all over the country who come to watch master sand sculptors compete for the first place prize in the Master Sand Sculpting Competition. The festival also features gourmet food trucks, live entertainment, local vendors, exhibitor booths, sand sculpting lessons children’s sand sculpting lessons, fireworks, a drone show and much, much more over the course of three days. Wilfred Stijger and Edith van de Wetering, both of the Netherlands, will be helping with the judging, logos, and the centerpiece. This year’s festival will take place from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28, 2019. The Revere Beach Partnership is proud to announce that this year’s theme is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing. The 2019 Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival will provide an artistic representation and celebration of this significant event of our nation’s history.
