The access stairway from Campbell Avenue (across from 85 Campbell Ave.) to Florence Avenue took 10 months to complete, at a cost of approx. $700,000. Originally, $1.6 million was set aside for the renovation of all six public access ways and, according to reports, more funding is being sought to complete the projects. Phase 2 of this project on Campbell Avenue is the stairway directly across from the newly renovated stairs (next to 85 Campbell Ave.), leading from Campbell Avenue to North Shore Road. The others in the loop for reconstruction, in no order: Bradstreet Avenue, Sale Street, Unity Avenue and Tuckerman Street to Broadway.
