Whelan School hosts Class of 2026 graduates and holds a Gratitude Parade By Melissa Moore-Randall A s the school year comes to an end, students at the A.C. Whelan had a sendoff for recent high school graduates and a Gratitude Parade for support staff . The morning started with former Whelan students and recent high school graduates walking through the halls for the annual Clap Out. Returning alumni included Vincenzo Palermo (Malden Catholic), Ali Giannetti (Essex Tech), Ava Patch (Danvers High), Chris Poole (NE Voke), Thomas Espada (NE Voke), RHS Class President Kepler Celamy, Ricardo Teixeira (RHS), Justin Balla (RHS), Ian Medeiros (Everett High) and Fatima Alzahra Elhariri (RHS). Following the Clap Out, Whelan students in grades K-5 walked the hallways, thanking support staff , including social workers, nursing staff , cafeteria staff , administrations, security and administrative assistants.
