In the featured race, a IC student Clavel earns “Peg” McCarthy Volunteerism Award E stablished in 1998, this award goes to the graduating Immaculate Conception student who best exemplifi es a spirit of volunteerism. Mrs. “Peg” McCarthy was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Parish who volunteered in a variety of parish and civic programs in Revere. For many years she was active in the Catholic Daughters, the Immaculata Guild, Bingo and the Prayer Group, and she served as a Eucharistic Minister. This year’s recipient of the “Peg” McCarthy Volunteerism Award is Marnie Clavel.                                                                                     
