The trio has been participating in weekly sessions using “The Team Captain’s Leadership Manual” by Jeff Jansen, a program designed to build the foundation for player-led teams. “[The leadership manual] has been a great resource for them and our future leaders. McKenna is also calling on the city to line the banks of the creek with hay bales to prevent any trash from entering the waterway and endangering wildlife.
