Democrat Jeffrey Turco, Republican Paul Caruccio and Independent Richard Fucillo, Jr. are on the ballot for the seat that represents Winthrop as well as Ward 1, Precincts 1 and 2; Ward 2; Ward 3, Precincts 2 and 3; and Ward 5, Precinct 3 in Revere. Polling locations in those precincts will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30. Turco, a local attorney and former School Committee and Town Council president in Winthrop, won a four-person Democratic primary in early March. The overlay district is part of the larger Riverfront Master Plan, which the council approved earlier this year.
