The Junior Varsity Cheering Squad placed fi fth in the Nationals, which was recently held at Disney World. “It was nerve-wracking, but an exciting rush,” said 12-year-old cheerleader Ana Mello. “We were really proud when we beat Merrimack Pop Warner at Nationals when we lost to them in Regionals.” Cheerleader Mikayla Moglienicki, 11, said she was scared because she never expected to make it that far. “I was surprised,” she said.
