To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester. Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational institution located in Hamden, Conn. The university enrolls 9,400 students in 110 degree programs through its Schools of Business, Communications, Education, Computing and Engineering, Health Sciences, Law, Medicine, Nursing and the College of Arts and Sciences. Endicott College announces local Dean’s List students E ndicott College, the first college in the United States to require internships of its students, is pleased to announce its Fall 2024 Dean’s List students. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must obtain a minimum grade point average of 3.5, receive no letter grade below “C,” have no withdrawal grades and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits for the semester. For more info, visit endicott.edu. Iowa State honors fall graduates M ore than 1,600 graduates received degrees from Iowa State University this fall. Graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies were held from Dec. 2021 at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa. Of the 1,675 students who graduated in December, 1,357 earned undergraduate degrees and 318 earned masters or doctoral degrees. Justice Department Announces Formation of Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism P ursuant to President Trump’s Executive Order on Additional Measures to Combat Anti-Semitism, the Justice Department announced today the formation of a multi-agency Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism. The Task Force’s fi rst priority will be to root out anti-Semitic harassment in schools and on college campuses. In addition to the Department of Justice, the Task Force will include representatives from the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and other agencies as it develops. The Task Force will be coordinated through the Department’s Civil Rights Division. “Anti-Semitism in any environment is repugnant to this Nation’s ideals,” said Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Leo Terrell, who will be heading the Task Force. “The Department takes seriously our responsibility to eradicate this hatred wherever it is found.
