Thanks to the wonderful teams of Malden Reads and Malden City Hall for hosting us for a Kwanzaa ceremony this year. Thanks to Mayor Gary Christenson, Malden Reads, Eric Henry, Nekita Lamour, Santa Claus, Rachana Gray and everyone else, who helped pull this event all together and make it happen. The firm resolve of community, communication, mutual support and the belief in rising to be our better selves are just some of the foundations of Kwanzaa.
