Wreaths Across America started as a simple gesture of thanks that has grown into a national movement of dedicated volunteers and communities coming together to not only REMEMBER the nation’s fallen and HONOR their service, but to TEACH the next generation about the value of freedom. This year, there will be almost 5,000 participating locations placing Veterans’ wreaths on National Wreaths Across America Day – the third Saturday in December. The goal for FOREST DALE is to place 200 sponsored Veterans’ wreaths in designated Veteran areas throughout the cemetery; to ensure that the individuals who served to protect our freedoms are never forgotten and to bring the community together in patriotic commemoration. www. wreathsacrossamerica.org Website To sponsor wreaths @Forest Dale www.wreathsacrossamerice.org/ MAFDCM (each wreath is $17) Bringing Wreaths Across America to Forest Dale Cemetery is a reminder that honoring our Veterans is a commitment to never forget their sacrifices and to show our gratitude and respect.
