Sasso commissioned Sophia, a talented artist, to design and paint a mural on the side of his building at 15 Waite Court. The colorful artwork will enhance Malden’s bike path/walking trail and will be enjoyed by many residents for many years to come. On September 5, 2010, Cory DiSciscio, 21, of Stoneham, was shot at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Wyeth Street in Malden.
