The rankings include data on nearly 25,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Once again, Massachusetts boasts the most schools in the national rankings. Of all of Mystic Valley’s sending districts, only Melrose, at 96th , cracked the Massachusetts list of top 100 public schools. Mystic Valley was also ranked the 402nd best high school in America. Both the state and national rankings put Mystic Valley in the top three percent of high schools. Factors that contributed to the rankings included college readiness, college curriculum breadth, math and reading profi ciency, math and reading performance, underserved student performance, and graduation rate.
