Gloria (Fantasia) Fucci A longtime resident of Malden, passed away on August 11, 2019. He was 84 years old. Thomas was a United States Navy Veteran during the Korean Conflict and worked as a union carpenter for many years for Local 22 and Local 23. He was a member of the Italian American Citizens Club in Malden and loved gardening. Thomas was the beloved husband of Lucy (Cocuzzo) Lally. He was the loving father of Tom Lally of Amesbury and James Lally and his wife Maureen of Danvers. Thomas was the brother of Margaret Coyne and Brenda West. He was the cherished grandfather of Shannon Lally and Michael and Erin Lally. The funeral will be held from the A. J. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday August Robert J. Cavanaugh of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2019. Born in Malden on March 19, 1930 to the late John F. and Mary G. (McDonough) Cavanaugh. Bob married Barbara A. ( Hall) Cavanaugh on April 24, 1954. They recently celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary. In addition to his wife, he leaves six children: Barbara A. Cavanaugh of Wakefield; Robert F. Cavanaugh and his wife Martha of Peabody; Patricia M. McLaughlin and her husband Daniel of Norwell; Mary T. Hanley and her husband Scott of Wakefield; Joseph P. Cavanaugh and his wife Julie of Wenham; and Nancy A. Stekl and her husband William of Amherst. Bob also leaves 11 beloved grandchildren: Caroline, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Andrew, Courtney, Matthew, Colin, Colleen, Julia, Greta and Ada. Bob is survived by his two brothers John F. Cavanaugh and his wife Geraldine and Richard Cavanaugh and his late wife Rosemary as well as several nieces and nephews. Bob resided in Malden for most of his life attending the Immaculate Conception Grammar School and Malden Catholic High School (Class of 1948). He proudly served his country in Korea with the U.S. Army in the Army Security Agency. Bob worked for the Massachusetts Electric Company for 45 years. He attended Northeastern University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business. Bob was first and foremost a family man and particularly enjoyed time with his grandchildren in his later years. He loved all sports especially the Boston Red Sox, watching the games, devouring the sports page, and giving his opinions on either a winning or losing streak. He enjoyed spending summers on Cape Cod with his family in South Yarmouth, and he always looked forward to winters in Delray Beach, Florida during his retirement years. Jeanne G. (Wright) Shea gree in Home Economics. Jeanne worked for Boston Gas Company and utilized her culinary skills to help others master the latest cooking technologies and trends. She lived in Milton before marrying and moving to Malden, where she and her husband Joe raised their four children. Jeanne was a devout Catholic attending daily Mass and prayed the rosary regularly. She had a zest for life and loved being physically active and outdoors. She valued her daily routine, no matter the season, she was always on the move and being social – whether swimming at the beach, walking the neighborhood, hiking, playing tennis or her many days spent at the Y – Jeanne was always doing something active. Her genuine appreciation of life’s simple pleasures will be missed. The family would like to thank her dedicated and longtime caregiver, Yvonne Caulfield, who treated Jeanne like family. They would also like to thank the wonderful people at the Providence House in Brighton where she resided for 12 years, as well as the caring team at Marian Manor, particularly the nurses of 3 North. Died in Marian Manor, South Boston, August 8, 2019. Jeanne was born in Dorchester and grew up in Rye, New York and Milton, Massachusetts. She graduated from Framingham State College in 1945 with a dePassed away on August 13, 2019. She was 92 years old. Gloria was a longtime resident of Malden and her whole life was taking care of her family. She was also a former employee of Pumpsy’s Sub Shop in Malden for many years. Gloria was the wife of the late Alvan E. Fucci. She was the loving mother of Diane Nuzzo and her husband Frank of Everett, Joani Fucci and her partner Peter Robinson of Malden, Marie Ellis and her husband Joseph of Lynnfield and Alan Fucci and his wife Katie of Melrose. Gloria was predeceased by 10 sisters.
