Page 14 THE MALDEN ADVOCATE–Friday, August 16, 2019 MOA’s thank you to the city of Malden M ayor Gary Christenson said it best with respect to Malden Overcoming Addiction (MOA) during the organization’s recent event, stating, “As if fighting the disease of addiction isn’t enough, MOA took the time to thank the community for all their help throughout the year with their annual Malden Overcomes event on Aug. 3.” The mayor, along with State Representatives Paul Donato and Steve Ultrino, and city councillors, joined MOA Director Paul Hammersley and his wife, Lisa, along with supporters at Lincoln Commons, where residents enjoyed a fun-filled day of rides, games, food and fun.
