Kathy is well known for her commitment to the community through her work with Bread of Life, where she spent many years volunteering, then served on the Board of Directors and later became President. A hospital and health care professional, Kathy has dedicated her long career as a nurse to taking care of others. Mayor Christenson surprised Kathy with a Citation in honor of her milestone birthday, and when he asked what her secret was for such a long and happy life, she said that “drinking tea” keeps her young.
