(Courtesy /Linimberg Photo) Each honoree was surrounded by family and loved ones who have supported them throughout their careers and were present for the ceremonial badge pinning and oath of office as they officially entered their new roles. According to information from Malden Police, Captain Tuxbury will serve as a member of the department’s command staff and assume the role of Patrol Commander, overseeing the Uniformed Patrol Division. Lieutenant Reynolds will be assigned as the officer in charge of a patrol platoon, while Sergeant Watkins will serve as a street supervisor in his new role as a patrol sergeant. "Congratulations to each of them on this important milestone. We look forward to all they will continue to do in service to the Malden Police Department and our community," the Malden Police said in an official statement, "Events like today’s are made even more successful through the partnership and assistance of members of our community."
