Summer Eats is a site-based, mobile food distribution program that also includes meals at Malden High School. All of the lunchtime meals are available from 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the mobile sites, and from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Malden High School (77 Salem St., at Cafeteria A). The mobile food distribution is conducted by the Malden Public Schools Food Truck at six parks or school sites from 11:30 a.m.12:00 p.m. Children who are receiving the free lunches must be present and all meals must be eaten on-site. The program is funded by the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
