Malden residents will receive a preference in the lottery. The City of Malden identified the site as an opportunity to build new affordable housing with support from MassHousing’s Neighborhood Hub initiative. The location provides excellent accessibility and convenience; it is situated near public transit, schools, shops and other neighborhood amenities that will serve future residents well.
