Carole was a graduate of Malden High School Class of 1955 and was a tremendously devoted and dedicated parishioner, volunteer and Eucharistic Minister at Saint Joseph's Church. (Overlan) Rao A longtime resident of Malden and Revere, passed away on Monday, July 3rd, at the age of 83. She was a loving and devoted wife of 60 years to the late Frank D. Rao. She is survived by her beloved children, Denise Rao Monaghan and husband Jim of Hopkinton, Daniel Rao and wife Michele Solimine Rao of Middleton, Dean Rao and wife Karen of North Reading, and her grandchildren, Taylor Rao, Brooke Rao, Carolyn Rao Rolander and husband Griffin, and Allison Monaghan. She was a loving daughter of the late Peter and Josephine Overlan. A pastime instilled by her father, Carolyn loved taking long drives throughout the North Shore with family and friends and visiting beaches year round. Most notable was Carolyn’s love of God and devotion to prayer. Carolyn was a long-time communicant of St. Joseph’s Church, Malden, and St. Mary’s, Revere. In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, Carolyn was a past president of the St. Joseph’s Mother’s Club and worked for Malden Trust Company and later JEOL, Inc., Peabody as a credit manager. Visitation was held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, Malden on Sunday, July 9th. A Funeral Memorial Mass was held at St. Mary’s of the Assumption, Revere, MA on Monday, July 10th. Professional TREE REMOVAL & Cleanups 24-HOUR SERVICE Passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 2nd. Kenny was born in 1956, the son of Kenneth F. and Evelyn Sullivan. He was raised and educated in Malden, graduating from Malden High School with the Class of 1974. He then went on to study at Northeastern University, where received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Kenny then took employment with Digital Equipment (HP) for over 30 years working in supply chain management. Kenny retired from HP and then founded his Verizon Store, I.M. Wireless, which he ran for nearly a decade before retiring for good. In years past, Kenny was a member of the Malden Moose. He enjoyed music and reading. He especially loved reading about historical events but would read all kinds of books. He read the entire Lord of the Rings Trilogy to his children. One of his favorite activities was sharing his love of the Beatles, U2 and Bob Dylan with anyone who would listen. He also enjoyed discovering new artists that loved to share with his children. He loved to play golf, and was a longtime member of AA. His greatest joy was being a father and a Papa. He valued family more than anything else. He is survived by his children, Paige D. Connell of Westford, Sarah M. Sullivan of Groton, and Kenneth B. Sullivan of Tyngsboro, his father Kenneth F. Sullivan of Stoneham, his siblings Cheryl Marlow of Weston, Brian Sullivan of Milford, and Marie B. Elliot of Plymouth, as well as his grandchildren, Lahai, Sadie, Raquel, Sam, Sutton, and Lennon.
