By Tara Vocino T he Home Instead office, which serves the Greater Boston area, celebrated the 100th birthday of Malden Street resident Celia Denehy outside of her home last Friday afternoon. “It feels good to turn 100, because I’m still alive,” Denehy said. “My secret is a glass of red wine at dinner every night.” Denehy previously served as a welder at the navy yard in World War II. She has served her community, volunteering her time at Bread of Life in Malden and North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly. She has lived on Malden Street for 80 years, and she is the only family member to make it to 100. Mayor Gary Happy 100th Birthday! Celia Denehy has lived in the same house in Malden for 80 years.
