Throughout his time as mayor, Carlo DeMaria has championed the city’s summer jobs program providing Everett youth (ages 14–21) with in-person and virtual job placements across City departments. These teens gain work experience, networking opportunities, and essential life skills like responsibility, teamwork, and leadership. Mayor DeMaria’s administration introduced new social and life-skills programs for ages 10–14, focusing on healthy decision-making and prevention strategies—a critical resource for navigating adolescence with confidence.
