The new sober living residence off ers 16 rooms for women seeking a safe, supportive environment as they continue their recovery journey. Mayor DeMaria joined Substance Abuse Services Coordinator Chris Simonelli to present a City of Everett Citation to the staff of New Chapter Living Recovery Homes in recognition of their grand opening. Residents from other New Chapter homes attended to share their stories and speak about how the program has helped them on their path to recovery. “We’re glad to have New Chapter Living Recovery Homes join us in Everett because they provide an essential service to women who need a safe and supportive place during their recovery,” said Mayor DeMaria. “As a community, it’s important that we continue to expand access to the resources and care that help individuals and families heal. We are glad to have them as a partner as we continue to support our residents with the resources they need.” New Chapter Living Recovery Homes operates several residences across Massachusetts dedicated to helping women build independent and substance-abuse free lives through structure, peer support and compassion.
