On December 19, 2018, Matarazzo, 50, was allegedly murdered by her estranged husband Emilio. In addition to being vice president of the Kiwanis Club of Everett, Matarazzo had also served on the Board of Assessors, the School Committee and the Board of Registrars and was a secretary at St. Anthony’s Church.
