THE REPUBLICANS: None of the 24 GOP members voted with Jones 100 percent of the time. The Republican representative who voted the least percentage of times with Jones is Rep. John Gaskey (R-Carver) who voted with Jones only 78.4 percent of the time. “For too long the Republican party has played ‘Democrat Lite,’ hoping for scraps from the table of funding to bring home to their districts,” Gaskey told Beacon Hill Roll Call. “I was sent to Beacon Hill to stand up and say, ‘No more.’ I ran on change and helping the Republican party diff erentiate from the Democrats and using my vote to stand up against radical far left policies that hurt my district and constituents is one way of doing that.” Rounding out the top BEACON | SEE PAGE 16 Home of the Week SAUGUS – Wonderful Family Colonial featuring 7 rooms, 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, eat-in kitchen with pantry area offering granite counters, desirable and spacious 1st floor family room, large living room open to dining room, enclosed front porch, rear deck overlooking large, level yard, two car detached garage, newer gas heating system, 2026 gas hot water heater, conveniently located just outside of Saugus Center, close to shopping and NEW & EXCITING PRICE $599,900 all major routes. Equal Housing Opportunity. John Aloise I t is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Aloise . There are no words that can truly capture what it means to lose someone like John. John was a cherished son of late Carol LoConte and William Aloise. He was the husband of Julie Aloise, the father of his beloved daughter, Stephanie Aloise and caring father-in-law to Jerome Smart. OBITUARY John leaves behind his loved siblings, Carol Fraizer, Dino LoConte, Marlene LoConte, Michele LoConte and Jody Lamontagne, along with their families. He was preceded in death by his siblings Louie Aloise, Cheryl Barends and his twin Joseph Aloise (born together, bound forever, reunited in eternal rest.) He also leaves behind countless in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. He will be sorely missed by his puppy Rocky, his most loyal companion and his grandpups Chum and Koda. For those who knew John, there will be countless stories— the funny ones, the crazy ones, the ones that make you shake your head and smile. John lived a life filled with love, laughter, hard work, family, friendship, and adventure. He was an amazing provider and the greatest dad. He was strong. He was fearless. He was funny. He was one of a kind. Most of all, he was loved, more than words could ever say. Visitation was held on Sunday, September at Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Funeral and Prayer Service on Monday at the Funeral Home. Family asks that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of John. http:// www.cancer.org 800-227-2345 ~ In Memoriam ~ Joseph “Bob” Cardello Our Dad was born September 9, 2026 and he would have been 100 years old. He was married to Catherine Guerriero and they celebrated 41 years of marriage. They raised “my three sons” Robert, Richard, and Paul. Dad was a proud husband, father and grandfather. Dad worked for the City of Everett as Board of Health Inspector and he also served on the Common Council. Dad, along with John Pomer, Walter Shaw, and others under William “Pucky” Onessimo started the Everett Youth Farm League Baseball. Dad was a proud member of the U.S. Navy. Check out the Veterans Street sign at the corner of Main and Pearl Streets. The Cardello Family just celebrated their 30th year of sponsoring the Joseph “Bob” Cardello Memorial Scholarship at Everett High School. We would like to thank our Aunt Rosemarie Guerriero, a teacher at EHS, who helped me put this together. She was so happy to be involved with it. We would also like to thank Mr. Fred Foresterie, former Superintendent of Everett Public Schools, who was so happy and proud to help out. Fred always said to me, “Your father was a great man.” Anytime Fred needed a favor, Dad was always there for him. Additionally, we want to thank Linda Maloney and her staff for putting together an excellent scholarship program. Lastly, to thank School Supt. William Hart and his staff, and Kelley Naumann and her staff, in keeping Scholarship Night a huge success. Thank you, The Cardello Family Bobby, Mom Rick, Paul, Christine, Courteny, Lola and Molly We all miss you, Dad.
