Local veterans and families went out and collected a room full of nonperishable treats for the troops. Last week volunteers gathered at the Mottolo Post in Revere and packaged up the collected items to be sent to Syria. Mayors Keefe and DeMaria off ered their full support of their cities, helping to fund the project.
