Van Campen and Everett City Council members visited the Connolly Center to celebrate Little League players and the conclusion of another successful season. Players and their families gathered for the annual banquet, enjoying food, bingo and activities for the kids. The celebration concluded with players receiving trophies and medals in recognition of their hard work throughout the season. “As the parent of a former Little Leaguer, it’s always great to spend time with players and their families and celebrate everything they accomplished this season,” said Mayor Van Campen. “Beyond the game itself, these kids are learning the value of sportsmanship, teamwork and perseverance, lessons that will stay with them as they grow.” Little League Players posing for a group photo.
