She seized every opportunity to travel and loved exploring new places, but her favorite places always remained Nova Scotia, Maine and Cape Cod because these places were always shared with lots of family and friends. Dot took up golf at a late age so she could enjoy more time with Joe and other family members who play the game. When not with others she loved to read, make puzzles and watch her Westerns and golf on TV. She was a great baker and generously shared her delicious treats with others. Dot was a very caring and compassionate person with a beautiful disposition which made everyone love to spend time with her.
