Special to Th e Advocate T he City of Everett’s Crimson Kids Summer Program gave local kids a summer fi lled with new experiences, friendships and opportunities to build skills they can carry with them well beyond the program. Hosted by Everett Youth Development & Enrichment, the annual sixweek program off ered sports, arts & crafts, team-building activities, educational enrichment and fi eld trips throughout the summer. Participants visited destinations, including TD Garden, Franklin Park Zoo and Connors Farm, before wrapping up the program on Friday, August 21, with a fi eld day outside the Recreation Center.
