In a separate press conference that morning, Mayor Wu questioned the project’s potential impact on Charlestown and the transparency of ongoing negotiations. In response, Mayor DeMaria and President Bilello sought to clarify the project’s current status, highlight community benefi ts and reaffi rm their commitment to open dialogue and regional cooperation. The House Chair of the Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Aff airs was joined by a few of his fellow committee members and colleagues who represent the area. The visit is one of many the Rep. is making in an eff ort to enhance well-being for veterans and their families in Massachusetts. “I was thrilled Veteran’s Inc. Rep.
