Special to The Advocate V eterans from across Everett gathered at the Connolly Center for the City of Everett’s monthly Veterans Luncheon, sharing a meal, reconnecting with friends and welcoming Interim Director of Veterans Services Paul Landry. Held on the last Wednesday of each month, the luncheon is an opportunity to bring Everett’s veteran community together while recognizing the sacrifices they made in service to our country. With more than 33 years of leadership in the Everett Police Department and the Massachusetts National Guard, he brings decades of public service and military experience to the position. Throughout the afternoon, Landry met with veterans, listened to their stories and began building relationships with the people he will now serve. “The July Veterans Luncheon Atom X was a special occasion because our veterans had the chance to meet and welcome our new Interim Director of Veterans Services, Paul Landry,” said Mayor Robert J.
