THE EVERETT ADVOCATE – FRiDAy, July 14, 2023 Page 3 City of Everett kicks off Summer Movie Nights The Everett community gathered at Everett Stadium to see “Puss in Boots: The last Wish” he City of Everett hosted the first movie night of the summer on Friday, July 7, 2023, with a showing of “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.” Many families, kids and young and older adults brought their own blankets and lawn chairs to sit on the hill at Everett Stadium to watch the movie on the big LED screen thanks to Next Level Gaming Events. It was a beautiful cool summer night that was perfect for watching a fi lm outdoors. Free popcorn, drinks and ice cream were handed out to all who attended the event to enjoy while watching the fi lm. This movie night is the fi rst in a series that will continue throughout the months of July and August. The goal is to bring Everett residents and families together to enjoy a fi lm suitable for all ages as a community.
