Twelve teams will compete for the first-place prize of the Cup and $1,000, as well as a second-place prize of $450. The Winners Trophy will now and forever be known as Ersilia’s Cup, in memory of our beloved member Ersilia Cataldo Matarazzo. Our Silver Sponsorship of Everett Democratic City Committee to hold 2019 Caucuses T he Everett Democratic City Committee is pleased to announce that they will hold their Annual Caucus on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at the Parlin Library. Registration will open at 6:30 p.m. and close promptly at 7:00 p.m. Once registration is closed and the caucus begins, no additional registration will be permitted. The purpose of the caucus is to elect delegates and alternates to the 2019 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. The convention will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019, in Springfield, where delegates will come together to develop the Party’s action agenda designed to make progress on real issues like climate change, healthcare, education, immigration and civil rights. Participation in the caucus is open to all Everett registered Democrats. You must be present at the caucus to run. The caucus itself is open to the public.
