Page 14 THE EVERETT ADVOCATE – FRiDAy, ApRil 29, 2022 Everett celebrates M ore than 200 community members celebrated Earth Day at Rivergreen Park on Saturday. Residents gathered to clean up the area, plant seeds for pollinators and install bat nests. Mayor Carlo DeMaria assisted in installing an osprey nest. The Clean River Project helped clean debris and litter. Residents enjoyed Everett’s waterfront with boat rides. The Everett Community Growers entertained children while preparing their farm. Members from local organizations – such as LUMA, the Eliot Family Resource Center, the Nepalese Community, Portal To Hope, the Red Cross, the Mystic River Watershed Association, the Universal Church, the Joint Committee for Children’s Health Care in Everett and the Everett crew team – participated.
