Director of Elder Services Dale Palma emceed the event. T he Ci ty of Everett ’s Council on Aging (COA) recently hosted the Indoor Older Adult Olympics at the Connolly Center. Everett’s older adults participated in a variety of competitive and fun games, such as Cornhole, Horseshoes, Ring Toss, Golf Putt, Tic-TacToe and Roll the Dice. The COA team oversaw all of the games and ensured everything went smoothly. Prizes were awarded to all who were victorious, but most importantly, everyone had a fun time together as a community. The COA provides older adults access to health and fitness programming, educational tools, socialization, transportation, meals and support services.
