Through this event, Everett’s youth who are ages 14-25 are invited to bring their resume and explore potential job opportunities, internships and career paths from a diverse range of employers from various industries. Those who attend can engage in live chats with recruiters and representatives and connect with professionals in their desired fi eld, as well as learn more about the City’s annual Summer Youth Work Program and the upcoming year-round workforce program. The event is also a great opportunity for employers to showcase their brand and connect with the next generation of young professionals. In celebration of the AllStar weekend of the National Basketball Association (NBA), Everett youth in grades 3-12 are invited to participate in the Skills, 3-Point and Dunk Contest. The basketball court will be split in two to divide participants into grades 3-6 and grades 7-12 for the skills and 3-point contest. Afterwards, all participants will join back together for a dunk contest to have fun and show off their moves. The event will culminate in an NBA watch party beginning at 7 p.m. to enjoy the fun and excitement that the All-Star festivities have to off er.
