Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and to honor what would have been his 92nd birthday. “Each year, we use this time to refl ect,” DeMaria said during the January 18 ceremony. “Dr. King would’ve been so proud to see a community as diverse as ours.” DeMaria recalled Everett’s how residents “stood in unity” during the darkest days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
