Professional development To become a chartered member of IOSH, professionals must demonstrate an outstanding commitment to the health and safety profession, through their everyday work, continuing professional development and professional qualifications. RoSPA can provide four professional qualifications to help you attain CMIOSH status. The NEBOSH National Diploma is a nationally recognised higher qualification, for which RoSPA boasts excellent pass rates. The NEBOSH National General Certificate is the most widely held health and safety qualification in the UK and the NEBOSH International General Certificate follows the same format but with a focus on operations in the international arena. Alternatively, the City & Guilds NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety offers another entry route into CMIOSH status.
