Prairie Wins Viking Relays The major victory for the varsity track team was winning first place at the Vinton Viking Relays. They placed second at the Anamosa Relays, second at the Grinnell Relays, and second in the ECIC conference. There weren't any meets at the fresh-soph level, since there were many ninth and tenth graders on the varsity team. Coaches Leeper and Oertel considered it a good season. Coach Hawkins also assisted with the teams. 113
