Pumping Iron at Prairie noidos There were approximately 16 guys involved in weightlifting this year. Most of the weightlifters were football players, so it was mainly a motivation for them. However, non-football players were also involved. There were two achievement levels in weightlifting. The 800 pound club and the 1,000 pound club. In order to achieve one of these levels, a weightlifter had to be able to lift a certain amount in each of the four different kinds of weights— amounts totaling 800 or 1,000 pounds.
