In 2011, Invest in ME Research initiated a different type of meeting that was appended to our annual public conference. We gave that meeting the term “Corridor Conference” – as most of the productive discussions at seminars often took place in corridors or places away from the presentations. And so the idea of the Biomedical Research into ME Colloquium was born. A meeting that would not compromise our research ethos with false views of ME but would instead concentrate on high-quality biomedical research and international collaboration.
