STATE NEWS Build A Better CT Senate Republican President Pro Tempore, Len Fasano, and legislative leaders of relevant housing committees joined the HBRA of CT for a fundraising event to help elect pro-business candidates this fall. Members from all four local Home Builders Associations in Connecticut were in attendance to support these efforts. This fundraiser does not mean the HBRA is aligning with one party – rather it is an admission that the status quo that has left CT behind the rest of the country is not good enough. While neighboring MA has recovered 400% of their jobs lost during the great recession, our state has only recovered 86%. Connecticut is in need of new leadership that will put an emphasis on growing the economy which will allow businesses to succeed. Our industry can be a big part of that growth. State elections for Governor, Lt. Governor, Treasurer, Comptroller, Secretary of State, Attorney General and the state senate and house will be held on Tuesday, November 6th.
