MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE OFFICER Dear HBRA Members, We ended our summer with another exceptional Clambake at the Beach - even the rain couldn’t keep the SOLD OUT crowd from enjoying seafood, grilled food, and some fantastic beverages! As we wind down the year, be sure to sign up quickly for events. October 4th we are at Hocon Gas at their Norwalk Showroom. The membership raffle is at $1,250 - be there to win! The last OSHA 10 Construction class for 2017 will be held on October 12 & 13. These classes SELL OUT so register quickly! Get your bowling shoes for the October 24th Bowla-rama! Builders vs. Associate members trophy is on the line so mark your calendars for this fun event. Due to some medical issues I was unable to attend the event in Denver but the NAHB Executive Officer Council was so kind in allowing my daughters who were in Denver, to accept the award on my behalf. Against such strong competition, I really do have to count myself lucky to have won. Thanks to Chris Steiner, Kim DiMatteo for nominating me for this prestigious award.
