NEW CT Building Codes Intended Effective Date October 1 The Department of Administrative Services, Office of the State Building Inspector, in conjunction with the Codes & Standards Committee, is announcing its intent to adopt a new building code to be titled the 2016 Connecticut State Building Code. This code will adopt the 2012 ICC family of code.
