mEMBER NEWS Congratulations to the 2017 Incoming State Chairman Congratulations to Peter Fusaro on his election to Chairman of the Board of the state HBRA association at the September HBRACT board meeting. As founder and President of Preferred Builders Inc. and Vice President of Green Built Connecticut, Peter Fusaro is no stranger to the building industry where he has been building for the past 27 years. Preferred Builders Inc. is a general contractor specializing in new home construction, high performance home construction, and energy efficient and green building, and is dedicated to building quality homes throughout Fairfield County. Peter is a Past President and current Life Director of the Fairfield County HBRA as well as a NAHB Director. We wish Peter all the best in his upcoming role and thank him for his continued service to the Home Builders and Remodelers Association. He will be installed and assume his duties as Chairman in January 2017. Welcome Clare Michalak We are happy to welcome Clare Michalak to the HBRA staff as the new Marketing and Graphics Coordinator. Clare is a 2016 graduate from Quinnipiac University with a B.A. in English and Interactive Digital Design She was active with Quinnipiac Theatre for Community as an Assistant Stage Manager, Costumer, Props Coordinator, and the 2016 New Play Festival performed at Abingdon Theater in NYC Clare is passionate about both written and visual communication that we will sure to see in this publication and future ones as well.
